Well, this might be the last blog update for 2020.

This includes repairs from a spill we had a while back. Motorcycles are always vulnerable\u2014it’s a tough situation…

I can’t quite hide my surprise at the price hike on Suzuki genuine parts.

There were no issues with wheel runout. The wheel has quite a bit of weight applied to it.

I applied Gun Coat to all the small parts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wheel bearings should be fine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fork oil change was also requested, so I went ahead and replaced it.

It’s good to clean the inside while the wheel is off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I cleaned the caliper. The operation is so-so.
It’s a good idea to replace the single-piston boots occasionally for peace of mind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s good to degrease and clean the brake disc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll also replace the damper when installing the missing upper side cover.
