GSX-R750RK prices have really gone up lately, haven’t they?

I have to say, I actually like that bulky 20th-century tail cowl.
These days, the chopped-up short style just doesn’t do it for me.

Everyone follows the crowd\u2014that’s just how the world works. Going against the grain can backfire, so life’s tough, right? <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

So I took it apart and sent it to Toyo hardening <\/a> for replating.
*Currently running on a Bandit 1200 fork as a roller. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s a pretty sophisticated Nissin 4-piston setup.
My favorite part is the caliper\u2014it’s small and fun to collect! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tachometer is from an RGB500 too\u2014and the master cylinder is sand-cast, which is really nice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looks stock, but it’s a Marvic disc\u2014another rare piece.
The magnesium caliper is nice too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I go with a sidecar linkage, it’s definitely the right side.
The left side has a really tight throttle cable layout.

It’ll probably take two weeks, so I’m putting it on hold for now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
