I’ve shaved down the ears quite a bit and will keep shaving.
I’ll reinforce it while it’s still solid. The vibe is a bit period-correct, kind of squishy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Should I modify the fairing or the fairing bracket?
I’m torn\u2026 and I also wondered if I should keep the original fairing too,

but since I’ve already cut the ears, I want to keep the fairing as unmodified as possible.

I’ll fabricate an OEM chin mount and join them together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surprisingly, I tack it and check the position and go “hmm?”
Remove it, tack it again\u2026 “hmm?”

I must have removed and installed the fairing at least 30 times today\u2026 (including the light bracket). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
