Everyone’s favorite\u2014the GSF1200… and it’s black, an S model, and an import.
It’s quite rare.

We really don’t see many of these anymore, do we?
Maybe it’ll become like the 86… or maybe not.

After some twists and turns, it looks like it’s going to end up pretty heavily customized.

It came in like this, and honestly… it has a bit of a puzzle-like quality to it.

I want to keep the oil cooler bracket as thin as possible.

If it’s thick…
\u2022 The cooler sticks out further forward
\u2022 Increased risk of interference with steering angle and such
\u2022 If it’s angled, cooling efficiency drops
And so on… or so I think.

The cooler bracket is an A+B strategy. SUS304 T=2MM*2=4MM approach.
Vibration dampers are absolutely necessary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m determined to keep it flush no matter what. That’s the feeling here.

Whether to lightweighting it is something for another day. I use a reverse-thinking stud approach each time.
