Summer is hot! But when it gets close to body temperature… well, it’s a bit much, isn’t it?
By the way, the shop is fully air-conditioned and maintains an average temperature of around 26 degrees Celsius.
The moment you step outside, it hits you with that muggy heat, and if you just pull the bike out for a moment, even the back mirror gets fogged up.

We’re replacing the meter harness. It’s probably original equipment… and it’s amazing that it still works. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe it’s time to drop the “super bright” marketing…

Even though it’s from Amazon, they’ve done a pretty good job with the build quality. And I’m happy that the insertion point uses a blade connector.
The reliability is way better than the ones with bent contact points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We cleaned up the headlight. Just a little cleaning clears away the “cataracts” and gives you a much clearer view. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without a relay, it’s putting out 30,000 candlepower, so inspection is no problem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reason harness replacement (Z-series or adapted systems) takes so long is…

Converting from Giboshi connectors to couplers and marking them.
Shortening long wiring instead of bundling it and rerouting the layout.
Changing coupler shapes and adding or removing wiring for better usability.

Honestly, it takes a lot of time and is difficult with significant risk involved, so I’d like to stop accepting adapted harness replacements for a while. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using stainless steel wire to expose bare metal at the main ground connection point will improve reliability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We replaced the throttle and clutch cables with customer-supplied parts.

I thought this product was really good.
The clutch cable has reinforcement in tight spots. The feel when pulling it is very smooth\u2014none of that “I’m pulling a cable” sensation you get with stock cables.

If you’re making it with an Active DIY throttle cable, well… you shouldn’t be.

Wow! This is not to be underestimated, I thought. (The throttle cable is the same.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We changed the oil to Newtech NC50 10W-50 and replaced the filter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
