The Obon holidays have finally started!

How is everyone spending their time off? (That’s a pun!)
This year has felt strange the whole way through, and before you know it, it’s August with scorching heat and blazing sunshine!

When you step out of the air-conditioned shop… “Whoa!!! It’s hot!”
I’d prefer to take test rides only in the morning or evening. The GoPro roaming seems like it’ll take a little break too.

The stock clutch hose is leaking something\u2014fluid? sweat? (the feeling is similar).
Can that really happen?

Even after removing the covering, I was like “Hmm?” Well, it’s old anyway, so let’s go with an SUS mesh hose\u2014that’s the call, and we’re moving right along. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I checked it out anyway, so here’s the diagram. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bike is left on the side stand, and the next day… there’s fluid dripping.
Looks like the cup failed again. With Suzuki, we don’t usually see leaks this frequent.
I wonder why. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We polished it when we disassembled it last time, so it’s nice and clean. There’s no severe scoring visible either. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next time, we might replace it or switch to a K-FACTORY clutch release.
K-FACTORY uses an O-ring, so it might be more resistant to leaks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We applied CCI MR20 metal rubber generously and assembled it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even the standard clutch master is plenty light and responsive. We protected the stopper and got it done. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
