There&#8217;s a theory that the diaphragm sometimes tears. <br><br>Well, when that diaphragm tears, the vacuum hose sucks up gasoline, which causes flooding and the engine won&#8217;t start. <br>Gasoline gets into the oil too, and so on. <br><br>It was a long journey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since we&#8217;re replacing the clutch, I checked inside with an endoscope. <br><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3cd0ITL\">Autofocus Endoscope Fiber Scope Endoscope Camera Anykit <\/a><br><br>Having a fiber scope can be pretty handy. <br>When choosing one, look for: <br>\u2022 A thin tip\u2014this one is 5.5 mm diameter <br>\u2022 Dual camera capability (straight view only gets pretty tough). <br>\u2022 LED lighting. <br>\u2022 A dedicated model with a built-in monitor is better. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Checking through the spark plug hole <br>\u2022 Checking the fuel tank condition <br>\u2022 Checking the oil pan and other components <br>\u2022 Checking the shape inside cowls that can&#8217;t be removed. <br><br>I think it&#8217;s pretty useful. If you run a shop, keeping one handy can add credibility and save time on work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/DSC05574.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-39170\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>As always, a pretty simple instruction manual. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/DSC05575.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-39171\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>I&#8217;m deliberately not writing it out, but you get it, right? Match it against the kit contents. That&#8217;s the idea. So 1 and 2 mean&#8230; I see. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/DSC05548.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-39172\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The owner mentioned strange particles in the oil, so I checked. Sure enough, there was a black object in the oil pan. I determined it wasn&#8217;t a concern from a composition standpoint. <br><br>The oil smells strongly of gasoline. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/DSC05547.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-39173\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/DSC05546.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-39174\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Blackbird is a 20-year-old now.
