I spun a stainless steel wire brush hard and it came right out.
No wonder it was leaking. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Welding the oil pan.
Or rather, I’m nervous about welding cast iron that’s submerged in oil.

I’ve got nothing but bad vibes about it.

Clean it real good, degrease it real good. *Warming it in an oven or similar is effective. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

A hole opened up, but that was expected.

I applied Devcon on the inside to seal it.

Now I need to avoid that contact point, but… I wonder if that’s even going to happen.
