As expected, three-day weekend. Someone’s always coming and going, coming and going, coming…

All anyone talks about is the new coronavirus… I hate it. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The BST on GSX-R models has dual fuel passages, so checking the fuel level is easy.

Do the left (1-2) and then the right (3-4) and you’re good. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Checking the actual fuel level from 1 to 4 gives you peace of mind.

You can also visually see how the fuel stops when it fills up. You can spot issues like poor shutoff (fuel level rising gradually) too. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Putting a mesh cover on it gives it a current factory look.

It’s also resistant to rubbing. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This fuel hose is my favorite so far. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

We replaced the intake manifold last time, but let’s replace it while we can get it.

We secure the damper, which comes loose easily, with epoxy.

But we don’t want to paint directly on the frame, so we use aluminum tape as a buffer. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Paint, stick, and secure with tape.

This keeps it firmly fixed and easy to remove when you want to. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

We adjusted the synchronization, and <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
