(I&#8217;m not sure)\u2014had its battery cover break.<br><br>It became beyond repair.<br><br><br>I figured next time it should be Bosch.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2RHSzA4\">So I bought the BOSCH Cross Line Laser QUIGO PLUS.<\/a><br><br><br><br>We don&#8217;t have a motorcycle lift at home.<br><br>When drilling holes in the undercowl, I place the laser on the floor and angle it using clay or similar.<br><br>But then&#8230;<br><br>if I tilt it at too steep an angle, it won&#8217;t illuminate (though of course nobody uses it that way).<br><br>One use and goodbye\u2014a sad story.<br><br>*I think every day about how you really don&#8217;t know what something is like until you buy it and try it.<br>If I&#8217;d never made a shopping mistake, how much money would I have left?<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Learning from my mistakes, here&#8217;s what I&#8217;ve figured out.<br><br>Even a rough angle will work fine as long as it illuminates and I can see the hole position, so I don&#8217;t think you need anything too fancy. *In case it fails or breaks anyway.<br><br>\u2022 Has a camera tripod boss (female threads)<br>\u2022 Illuminates even when tilted at an angle<br>\u2022 Price range around 5,000 yen<br>\u2022 Has both level\/vertical and cross line modes (cross line alone is fine too)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/DSC02896.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41526\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><br>Convenient uses\u2014basically cowl hole drilling examples:<br><br>\u2022 Undercowl hole positioning<br>\u2022 Grab bar hole positioning<br>\u2022 Engine slider hole positioning<br>\u2022 Side bag bracket hole drilling<br>\u2022 Turn signal position hole drilling<br><br>When installing aftermarket parts, the applications are pretty much endless.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hmm, around here? *whirrrr* &#8220;Oh no, it&#8217;s off&#8230;&#8221;<br><br>Before you feel sad about it, how about trying one of these?<br><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/34f5AUl\">Note that depending on the tripod, you may need an adapter.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2PBjUBo\">Tripods are sketchy too&#8230; Amazon is wild.<\/a><br><br>For your reference:<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2PBjUBo\"><br><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Have you ever needed to drill a hole in an object in front while aligning it with a hole in the back?
