Winter is cold temperature-wise, but it’s “bonus” season. The wallet should be feeling “nice and warm.”
No matter how much you think about it, worry about it, ride it, or look at it, motorcycles are eternally fun.

When I brought it in from outside the shop, I thought “Hmm, this is heavy!” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This tire is flat! We just replaced it the other day…
Pretty unlucky, right? But since it didn’t happen out on the road, let’s stay positive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s strange how a tire can puncture\u2014something like this actually pierces it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You couldn’t pierce it even if you tried, right? These kinds of moments are when you realize how scary things can be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Points I consider when choosing a wheel. (This is my personal take.)
\u2022 Rear wheel damper capacity
\u2022 Easy availability of small parts (dampers, etc.).
\u2022 Color options available.
\u2022 Few bike-specific designs (sprocket\/disc\/mounting bolts)
BITO R&D Mag-forged has some repair secrets (well, not really that secret), so it’s definitely a wheel I’d recommend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installing the air valve. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t like direct nut fastening, so I always use a copper washer for sealing purposes too. *Just for peace of mind <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manual tire changer <\/a>\u2014I have one, so I can swap them at lightning speed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Just wrapping a towel around it
dramatically reduces the risk of scratching the new wheel.

A thought just occurred to me:
if you wouldn’t want your own bike scratched,
then “protection! absolutely essential!” is what I think. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Same goes for the rear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s how it turned out.
Take your time, don’t rush, work steadily… even if you hurry, it doesn’t really save much time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this point I also coated it with Gun Coat (off-black). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Balancing the wheels. Thankfully, both front and rear came out at 0g.
That’s a big benefit of this wheel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installation with wheel covers attached for extra protection. <\/a>
\u2191If you’re a motorcycle shop or doing DIY work, having one set of these really puts your mind at ease. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
