It&#8217;s extremely worn, so we were asked to replace it. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/DSC01929.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42508\"\/><figcaption> It&#8217;s worn down quite nicely. T=3.00MM <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/DSC01930.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42509\"\/><figcaption> I figured I should measure it anyway&#8230; but the moment I placed it on the table, the offset was quite different&#8230; (a moment of silence) *In my head, I&#8217;d planned to swap it out and be done right away. <br><br> Well, well&#8230; <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/DSC01931.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42510\"\/><figcaption> I checked the axle shaft as usual&#8230; how does it look? <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/DSC01933.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42511\"\/><figcaption> I thought, why not just add a spacer for the increased offset and thin down the outer spacer? <br><br> But then <br> if I use a thin spacer + existing spacer + support + existing thinned spacer, the parts configuration increases&#8230; <br> Even though I had the thought that if they never come back&#8230; <br><br> No, that won&#8217;t do\u2014with a clear conscience, I fabricated a spacer with the increased offset (since it was a fit-check, I installed it, removed it, ground it about five times). <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"854\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/DSC_0777.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42512\"\/><figcaption> It has decent weight and a nice feel to it. <br> It really shows\u2014this was designed by a Kawasaki enthusiast (a Z1R fan)&#8230; impressive. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"854\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/DSC_0778.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42513\"\/><figcaption> And that&#8217;s how we got it installed (waiting on pads). <br><br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.co.jp\/DAYTONA-%E3%83%87%E3%82%A4%E3%83%88%E3%83%8A-%E3%82%B4%E3%83%BC%E3%83%AB%E3%83%87%E3%83%B3%E3%83%91%E3%83%83%E3%83%89%CF%87-AP2POT-97175\/dp\/B079FNYTCC\"> Did you know Daytona makes sintered pads for CP2696? 97175 really helps out\u2014lots of things. <\/a><br> Lately, Daytona, Kijima, and other manufacturers have been doing amazing development work. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/DSC01962.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42514\"\/><figcaption> We removed the muffler and changed the oil. I just can&#8217;t warm up to this Motul green color&#8230; <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/DSC01963.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42515\"\/><figcaption> That&#8217;s a pretty tight installation&#8230; isn&#8217;t it hard to remove the side cover? <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/DSC01978.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42516\"\/><figcaption> Tight brake hose routing + the cover got shaved too&#8230; well, it&#8217;s okay. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/DSC01974.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42517\"\/><figcaption> We kept things simple and went with a master stay (nutless = one tool does it all). <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/DSC01975.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42518\"\/><figcaption> That&#8217;s how we mounted it. (keeping in mind it&#8217;s plastic and used) <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/DSC01970.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42522\"\/><figcaption> It wouldn&#8217;t come out&#8230; wouldn&#8217;t turn&#8230; what is this? We ended up having to remove the master. <br><br> It got so corroded and seized up solid. It would look cooler if we dropped the brake hose straight down at 90 degrees (maybe next time). <br> We also routed the tank hose with plenty of slack. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/DSC01979.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42528\"\/><figcaption> We secured it with ultra-low-profile fasteners.
