Even though it hasn’t been ridden that much, it still feels good to freshen things up. So we went ahead with the oil change.
Newtech NC50 10W-50 &Oil filter. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We wiped down the drive chain thoroughly with a rag soaked in solvent oil, then applied a two-coat treatment.

The idea is to first penetrate deep with a thin chain oil and wipe it off, then coat it with a thicker chain oil to prevent splattering.

Thin chain oil has great penetration and smooth action, but we wanted to dispel the impression that it doesn’t last.

The brakes are essential. We cleaned and checked them. No photos, but we washed the rear as well. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The spark plug was clean too, so we reused it.
We also waterproofed the turn signals.
