You really get the sense that it’s been designed\u2014it just radiates that feeling. We had a manual issue, so we changed the scope to inspection, oil change, and fluid exchange. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

It came already installed.
Honestly, you wouldn’t think it was an option… there are so many parts (bolts and nuts). It actually seems like a hassle… I wonder how it’ll go?

When you assemble it, there’s a part that just won’t fit no matter what\u2014it seems to be due to the subtle shape on the inside.

It’s basically a three-piece structure. If you partially disassemble the mounting side and install it that way, it works. We kept trying temporary assembly and it wouldn’t fit, so we figured out the mystery and got it done smoothly.

Well, it’s a part you don’t want to remove… don’t you think selling parts like this is a bit much? Honestly.

These bolts are reused from the original setup. Since they were fixed with the plastic fender and the raised collar, the length below the head is longer than ideal\u2014it bothered me. I trimmed 3mm off (both sides). <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The fluid looked really dirty… but it turned out the inside was black. I wonder if that’s to make it resist corrosion? <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Still, it must have been dirty… I confirmed by checking the rear. We’ve replaced it with Golden Cruiser DOT 4. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We’ve changed the engine oil to Newtech NC50 10W-50. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We’ll handle the fork oil once the manual arrives.
