(Though they probably have some compatibility with friction materials and such.) <br><br>Again, just guessing, but I think FCC and similar brands use newer, better friction materials and processing in their product lineup\u2014meaning they engage smoothly and don&#8217;t slip as easily, or so I&#8217;d say. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC00683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-43660\"\/><figcaption>People always ask, &#8220;Where did the debris go?&#8221; Well, I think it&#8217;s turned to mush and circulated throughout the whole engine by now. <br><br>We drained the oil, removed the filter, and checked the oil pan from above. A large filter was installed, so we removed it for now. <br><br>Fuel filter air ingestion is nothing to sneeze at, so watch out. Even when reinstalling, direction matters. Bikes can be tricky that way. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC00721.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-43674\"\/><figcaption>Hose replacement became necessary, so we removed the carburetor. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC00722.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-43675\"\/><figcaption>The hose is Mikuni two-layer. This gray fuel hose is especially good. <br>It&#8217;s soft yet doesn&#8217;t kink easily. (Though it can kink if pushed.) The layout and removal feel really nice. <br><br>There are stiff fiber-reinforced hoses because people worry about kinking, but they&#8217;re pretty awkward to work with. You just need to route things smoothly.
