Since the carburettor is a TM or RS model, we’re replacing the throttle wire at the same time. Throttle wire length is actually pretty important.
Even when turning the handlebar left and right, it shouldn’t kink, should open smoothly and return firmly, and shouldn’t interfere with steering\u2014there’s no benefit to making it too long.

It happens sometimes, but “DIY work, too much hassle, so let’s go 10 cm longer”
with a 10 cm = 100 mm layout that’s hard to avoid becomes an absurdly long length<\/em>.
The same goes for brake hoses and other things, so aftermarket parts replacement isn’t always as simple as it seems.

Failed purchase \u2192 buy again multiple times \u2192 money circulates = very wonderful? I guess that’s one way to think about it.

This time we used one from a GSX1100SR\/Y.
So how do you choose? In our case, we keep a bunch of junk throttle wires around, so we pick by actually installing them and testing. (Can’t go wrong that way!)
