It’s been rainy and a bit cool lately. When it gets humid, you have to turn on the air conditioning, which makes it a little cold, so you end up turning it off, and then it gets muggy again. I wonder if comfort is just hard to achieve, or if people are just being picky… it’s pretty deep. <\/em>

We had a request for tire changes and other work.

Ever since we got the manual tire changer, tire changes have become so much easier. We can do them smoothly without causing any damage.
There’s the issue of not having space to install a tire changer,
or the hassle of doing it by hand,
or not doing that many tire changes in a year,
but for a shop that does get the occasional request, I think it’s really handy.

The front and rear wheels had no runout issues. We polished the rims. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The axle shafts front and rear had no issues either. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The bearing fit was a bit tight, so we made a slight adjustment. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The speedometer cable was loose at the base, so we removed it and lubricated it. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The pads still have some life left, but they’re showing some age\u2014switching to sintered metal pads alone would make a real difference in feel. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

About the spark plug that wouldn’t come out.
The T-wrench wouldn’t budge at all! In the end, we had to use a 1\/2-inch breaker bar and\u2014crack! Work like this is always risky.
How tight was it installed? Or is it seized? Hard to say. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Cylinders 2 and 3 had heavy exhaust leaks, so we replaced the gaskets and bands. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The ETC power was coming from the battery, but we found a convenient spot with 12V ignition and ground, so we tapped into the ignition power and ran it out through a 110 connector.

We also adjusted the throttle cable and clutch cable play and idle speed.
