The rod\u2014maybe for economy’s sake? Well, if it’s usable, we polish it, apply gun coat, and reuse it. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The usual condition. Back in the day, with limited equipment, it would’ve been “oh man, this is tough,” but these days it’s pretty routine. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    First inspection, second inspection. If you assemble without checking and something goes wrong, whose fault is it? The technician’s, I’d say. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    Bleeder nipples are always new. It’s also good to clean up the taper section on the caliper side where the nipple contacts. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    Swapping in later-model bolts gives it a slightly more modern look. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
    \"\"
    As always, I apply CCI metal rubber and whisper a little charm: “work smoothly for me.” <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    It’s turned out really nice. You can definitely see the OH work. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    By the way, the later rear caliper clip fits this caliper. *Slightly better workability.
