Strangely enough, we don’t often see the same bike model come through back-to-back. It’s either oil-cooled Katanas for a while, or GS1200SS, or early GSX-R, K6, or MN models.

I wonder if GSF and Bandit have become obsolete. Even regular Inazumas…

The stock rear suspension was leaking pretty badly, which was honestly a bit concerning.
That’s how we ended up swapping it out for OHLINS. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The reservoir is offset, so you need to be careful about left and right assembly. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The oil seal is still okay, but the dust seal deformation is pretty bad.
Maybe it’s worth doing an overhaul about once every ten years. If you’ve bought it used and haven’t done an overhaul yet, it’s definitely worth doing.
Your brakes will be reliable, and these days there’s also Gun Coat available, so you can paint it in different colors. *Though we only have black, silver, and clear… <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Here’s a little tip: first remove the big debris with a wire brush\u2014it saves time.
By the way, for rotating tools like this, a motor-driven one is better.

Stable output, easy tip replacement (you can do it by hand), and a good variety of tips is ideal.
