A very clean GSX750S. (Sorry, forgot to take exterior photos.)
Inspection, valve adjustment, and sidestand modification work requested. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

If you cut carelessly, you’ll usually pay for it later, so we do it right.
We check the original angle, remove the sole, and repeat the process of filing and cutting until we get to the right position.
We didn’t bevel the edge in this photo, but I think going “all out” is safer.

We welded all the way around and it’s complete.

Bang! There was oil leaking, which made us a bit nervous, but it looks like the gasket had shifted. Is this a common thing with Katanas?

All the cam lobes were in great condition with no scoring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking at the cam chain, I really felt that Suzuki does solid work. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

You can only see it when the head cover is open, so we checked the torque. Everything is fine.
We installed a metal head cover gasket like we did on the 1100SR, so it should be worry-free going forward. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We’re reusing it, so we gave it a fresh look with grinding and painting. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We were short one, so we got a #9. We’ll replace them all. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We’re switching to JR8B, which is compatible and also used in oil-cooled models. The edge is worn down, which might actually give better spark concentration? <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Inspection (New Plan) with a great-value oil change set. (Number one!) We replaced the oil with Newtech NC50 10W-50 and changed the oil filter.

We also replaced the drain bolt. If you think it looks dirty, it’s worth replacing. It feels better to reduce parts you don’t want to touch. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We also installed a terminal cover on the battery side.
