\nWe received a request for inspection, Newtech oil change, valve adjustment, master tank bracket fabrication, and more.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\nFirst, we got a request to swap out the mirror co-mounted bracket and replace it with an H2 Brembo black tank (large).<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nWe fabricated the parts piece by piece.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nWe docked everything together and it was complete.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nThat’s how it went. There’s nothing fancy or elaborate about it\u2014I think simplicity is best.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nAs much as possible, I think it looks better if we don’t co-mount it to the handlebar clamp.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nWe cut out the plate.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nWe mounted it with low-profile bolts, kept it clear of the fairing, and we’re done.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"
\nThe oil leak was coming from the shift shaft. We made a sliding hammer, pulled it out, and replaced it.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nThe generator connector was burned, so we swapped it out as a precaution.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"
\nWe changed it to a 250-3P connector and wrapped it with mesh tubing to improve the appearance a bit.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nLock washers are reassuring when you bend them firmly.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nPower on\/off points tend to loosen, so marking them with a marker makes it easier to check later.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nWe’re sending the rear wheel out for painting. We want to keep the work moving full speed! Masking it makes the process feel easier and smoother. (Maybe the customer feels more at ease too?)<\/p>\n

\nWe removed the tire with a tire changer (something between hand assembly and an electric changer).<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nWe heated the bearings on the wheel and pressed them out.<\/p>\n

\nTime passed, and it came back looking brand new.
\nThis is where the tension ramps up.<\/p>\n

\nThe disc is Sunstar. The tire is out of stock, so we’re reusing the old one for now.<\/p>\n

\nWhen the disc is new, the pads are new too\u2014a matched pair. They bed in easily.<\/p>\n
