\nSelf-point maintenance and typhoon crash repairs.<\/p>\n

\nFirst, the handlebar that bent and was a pain to remove. It’s pretty bent up.<\/p>\n

\nWe’ll swap it out for the owner’s spare handlebar. The corrosion is pretty bad.<\/p>\n

\nWe lightly polished and broke it in, then gave it a quick coat. I think everything looks better when it’s clean, and that builds more attachment to the bike.<\/p>\n

\nIt’s hard to tell from the photo, honestly.
\nWe corrected the lever that had sagged down and spread out.<\/p>\n

\nIt’s gotten pretty rusty this time around, and the brakes are super stiff.<\/p>\n

\nWith the right equipment, it takes five minutes flat. Now it’ll look and feel great.<\/p>\n

\nThe right side is the same.<\/p>\n

\nGood pin slide movement on the single-piston caliper gives you a nice feel.
\nSoft grease like what’s on the NC100 works great.<\/p>\n

\nRear. The piston moves well, but the pin was a bit off.<\/p>\n

\nWe cleaned and lubricated the chain area. There’s rust and clicking sounds, so the chain might be due for replacement soon.<\/p>\n

\nFront fork. We applied rust preventative to the upper section and cleaned and oiled the lower section.<\/p>\n

\nWe replaced the coolant.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nThe radiator cap can be reused.<\/p>\n

\nWhen we remove the fairing, we spray it down without touching and wipe it off. Dust and oil grime come right off and it’s clean in a flash.<\/p>\n
