\nStarting with the chain and sprocket, we carefully clean every accessible spot.<\/p>\n

\nWe add Fuel One to the tank.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nWhile we have it open, we spray on rust preventative oil and wipe it down\u2014that might boost the rust protection a bit.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nWhile we’re at it, we brush the key and remove any debris from the grooves\u2014it comes out looking nice and clean.<\/p>\n

\nFork: we apply rust preventative to the upper section and clean and lubricate the lower section.<\/p>\n

\nAir filter replacement. It’s nicely dirty, as you can see.
\nEven if it looks white, it’s clogged where you can’t see it.<\/p>\n

\nWe replace the coolant. It’s been cycling constantly between nearly 100 degrees and room temperature\u2014pretty harsh conditions.
\n*Leaving it unchanged causes sediment to build up and circulate, which leads to unnecessary problems.<\/p>\n

\nThe radiator cap still looks fine, so we reuse it.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\" \"\"
\nWe cleaned all three calipers. No rust, and they’re working great.<\/p>\n

\nWe did a full fluid change to Golden Cruiser DOT4.<\/p>\n

\nWe lubricated the levers and we’re done.<\/p>\n
