\nWe clean the left and right levers and apply lubricant.<\/p>\n

\nWe also remove the throttle, clean it, and apply lubricant.<\/p>\n

\nThe lever lock nuts are replaced every 2\u20133 times. The levers are basically floating, so they’re fine even when tightened firmly, but some units aren’t quite right.<\/p>\n

In that case, we fix them so they don’t become stiff. Everything depends on the lock nut.<\/p>\n

\nWe clean and lubricate the left and right pedal shafts. The lubricant was still present, so all was well.<\/p>\n

\nWe also remove the side stand and apply lubricant.<\/p>\n

\nWe replace the spark plug this time too.<\/p>\n

\nSame with the air filter.<\/p>\n

\nWe also clean inside the air cleaner box while we’re at it.<\/p>\n

\nI’ve been working on V-twins so much lately that being able to adjust from the top is just\u2014so smooth! (With V-twins, you can only adjust from below and the screws are barely visible.)<\/p>\n

\nI get a bad feeling pretty often, you know? We replaced the fuses too. (We cleaned the 25A since we don’t have a replacement.)<\/p>\n

Since I don’t see them until they blow, I check them once in a while and replace them\u2014supposedly the electrical flow improves by 0.01 percent? I hope so?<\/p>\n
