\nWe’ll start by replacing the harness. Main harness and lead wire circuits (ground, starter, battery positive).<\/p>\n

\nBoth the ground and generator looked fine.<\/p>\n

\nWe relocated the ground to the front for better serviceability. It might be slightly better to strip the paint first.<\/p>\n

\nDigital tachometer optional power supply. I’ll skip going into details about the previous installation.<\/p>\n

\nDepending on the situation, running power and ground in parallel can simplify the wiring. *We tap from the switch side rather than touch the harness.<\/p>\n

\nNon-OEM parts\u2014a common issue. The only downside is unnecessary risk. Especially inside the headlight, we want to leave just one or two threads and keep both sides the same length.<\/p>\n

\nDon’t forget to cut and deburr. With the right tools, each one takes less than ten seconds, and you can even match the lengths to the hundredth. It doesn’t change performance, but it’s a detail that matters when you’re working on it.<\/p>\n

\nI don’t like the ETC antenna sticking out, so I relocated it on my own.<\/p>\n
