\nInspection, self-point maintenance, and oil change all requested.<\/p>\n

\nLately the mileage hasn’t been climbing much, but it’s good to stay on top of maintenance anyway.
\nThe deposits are mild and the piston action feels good.<\/p>\n

\nThe spring plate and such were polished and restored to a nice finish.<\/p>\n

\nThe chain\u2014inside, outside, and sprockets\u2014was cleaned thoroughly within the limits of what we can polish. While rotating it, I feel it with my hands: “Is there any chain rattle?” “Any grinding?” It’s a tactile inspection.<\/p>\n

\nThe spark plug burn wasn’t ideal. I went ahead and replaced the plug.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"
\nAir filter replacement time. Of course mileage matters, but I think it’s good to replace it by age too.<\/p>\n

\nFluid was swapped to Golden Cruiser DOT4.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"
\nThe forks got cleaned and oiled with a little prayer: “No rust, please” and “Keep moving smoothly.”<\/p>\n

\nThree brake discs. They get pretty dirty. A little cleaning now and then does wonders.<\/p>\n

\nI added Fuel 1 to the tank. When gas runs too low it won’t go in, which causes headaches. Then I cleaned around the frame and oiled any spots accessible from the outside.<\/p>\n

\nEngine oil used was ELF MOTO4RACE 10W-60.<\/p>\n

That wraps up the work. Running great.<\/p>\n
