\nWet-cell batteries are best avoided if possible.
\n\u2022 Fluid level needs frequent inspection.
\n\u2022 During charging, it bubbles and mist or fluid typically comes out the breather.
\n\u2022 The battery area gets coated with dilute sulfuric acid mist and hydrogen gas, corroding easily and risking ignition or explosion.<\/p>\n

Plug-and-play MF batteries aren’t impossible, but it’s at your own risk. If you go plug-and-play, WESTCO has no issues.<\/p>\n

\nWhen inserting the plug cap, poking a pilot hole with an awl first makes it easy.<\/p>\n

\nAfter replacing the harness, I prefer not to modify it further\u2014that reduces risk and liability. I’ve set up a relay to tap power for the ETC. There’s room for more expansion, so let me know if you need anything.<\/p>\n

* I always hope people won’t touch the electrical system at all.
\nAfter spending time, effort, and materials to install something, if you later ask us to do other electrical work, you’ll need to pay for removal, repair, reinstallation, and reinstallation labor.<\/p>\n

Poor action leads to vigorous massaging, which often doesn’t yield results.
\nRubber is rubber, but old rubber gets stiff.<\/p>\n

Since it’s an anodized caliper, I’ll blast it clean with a high-pressure washer in the box.<\/p>\n
