\nI really do appreciate how well Suzuki designs for serviceability.<\/p>\n

\nNC100 grease holds up nicely.
\n\u2022 Low volatility
\n\u2022 Doesn’t break down in heat
\nSo the stem might stay in good shape for a long time.<\/p>\n

\nAll the races were in clean condition too.<\/p>\n

\nWe’ll seal it fresh and reassemble.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"
\nThere’s a bit of stiff corrosion, but the inner tubes were in VERY GOOD shape. The light oil we apply after each ride is doing its job.<\/p>\n

\nThere’s a runout of about 1\/100 to 2\/100 inch, but we’ll call that acceptable.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nWe replaced these, and the owner likes titanium. The hex socket is deeper, so it might hold up better\u2014or maybe that’s just wishful thinking.<\/p>\n

\nNothing major, but tighten the lower bolt vertically. If you tighten it sideways, it can settle down by the tolerance\u2014it’s more of a feel thing.<\/p>\n

\nWe also pulled a vacuum on it.<\/p>\n

\nSurprisingly, fine air bubbles still remain. It’s the same with brakes, but getting completely air-free is pretty much impossible.<\/p>\n
