\nBetter not to do it too often. Using cap bolts on the back is bad\u2014the tool won’t fit, so you can’t remove it, right? I think it’s better to secure it with a hex bolt with a two-point width.<\/p>\n

\nWe cut deep bevels front, back, up and down, then welded and joined it. This kind of thing happens all the time with older bikes.<\/p>\n

\nFor various reasons, it’s better not to pull it out any further.<\/p>\n

\nWe also pulled the bracket out past the cowl. Now we’re good.<\/p>\n

\nThe story goes back a bit. Removing the muffler means looking into the exhaust port, but…
\nSomething felt off. At first there was something like a burr that I couldn’t quite figure out, and it wouldn’t come off at all. When I finally managed to pull it out, there were eight pieces total (two per cylinder)\u2014I wonder what those were for?<\/p>\n

\nI’ve noticed something else unnecessary… sadly. The headlight beam axis is all over the place.
\nFor a shop like ours that puts effort into inspections, it’s “make sure the lights can be properly beam-adjusted.”<\/p>\n

\nUsually this plastic part is broken. Once you do it, you’re good for a while. It’s definitely worth checking once.<\/p>\n

\nIt was already clean, but it seems a little cleaner now. This is after cleaning.<\/p>\n

\nAfter assembly, we adjusted the beam axis and it’s perfect. About 1.7 million candlepower (per side) is fine.<\/p>\n
