Using it in reverse reduces the chance of pinching.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-48060\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/P1700415.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" \/><br \/>\nIdeally, don&#8217;t lay the lever down too far. If the lever bend is on the wheel side at this angle, the chance of pinching goes way up.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-48061\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/P1700414.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" \/><br \/>\nFor tube-type replacement, I keep the lever at about 90 degrees upright. If the tube sits properly in the rim, you don&#8217;t need much leverage.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-48062\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/P1700417.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" \/><br \/>\nSince the tube goes in first, it rarely sticks out, but check the whole circumference visually.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-48063\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/P1700418.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" \/><br \/>\nIf you inflate the tire close to the specified maximum pressure to seat the rim firmly, tire runout should be minimal.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-48064\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/P1700419.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" \/><br \/>\nChecking the axle runout afterward makes it even better.<\/p>\n<p>For reference!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A question about how to replace tube-type tires without pinching the tube.
