If it were my own bike, I wouldn’t want it to get scratched. I can accept scratches that happen despite protecting the area and being careful, but it’s sad when damage occurs in a way that seems like carelessness.<\/p>\n

\nThe hub anodize has come back. It’s colored beautifully.<\/p>\n

\nWe had to remove the front, so we replaced the bearings.
\nThe bolts were low-head caps, but thread-lock was needed in certain spots. For future safety, we’ve switched to standard caps. They’re nickel-plated.<\/p>\n

\nYour requested drilled and slotted rotors. These are also currently out of stock. Thank you for your patience in working with us.<\/p>\n

\nThat’s how it turned out. Why are we working on the entrance side?
\nThe shop is really cramped… We appreciate your cooperation.<\/p>\n

\nChain is DID, sprockets are Sunstar. Gold is normally out of stock. Black costs extra, but I’ll cover it.<\/p>\n

\nWe also replaced the hub damper.<\/p>\n

\nWhile we’re at it, I’ll clean the speedometer cable too.<\/p>\n

\nI’ve cleaned up the caliper as well.<\/p>\n
