\nHow convenient that the air filter is washable\u2014we just soak it in hot water.<\/p>\n

\nWhen we remove the master cylinder, let’s oil the brake lever too.<\/p>\n

\nYou notice things when you take it apart. The upper one is short. That’s pretty scary. (Already replaced.)<\/p>\n

\nThe clutch lever and adjustment dial feel great when they move smoothly.<\/p>\n

\nOil the throttle and accelerator cable. The oiling on the handlebar side is just for rust prevention, so you can just rub it in lightly.<\/p>\n

\nClean the step collar and oil it too.<\/p>\n

\nAfter polishing the step, the knurled section came out clean. These little discoveries make me happy.<\/p>\n

\nTake off the side stand once in a while and oil it.<\/p>\n

\nGoing back a bit\u2014the rear axle shaft is fine too.<\/p>\n

\nThis is a bit of a shortcut, but we sent the disc out for polishing to bed in the contact surface. That new-shoe squeaking sound is nice.<\/p>\n

\nWe replaced the spark plug too. There’s some uneven wear. We’ll check it again next time.<\/p>\n

\nIt wasn’t too far out of adjustment.<\/p>\n

\nThe license plate was about to break, so we made a plate holder for it.
\nA shearing machine is really handy. It takes less than five minutes.<\/p>\n

\nThe goal is to reduce the areas we’d rather not touch.<\/p>\n

After we fix the carburettor’s slow leak, we’re done.<\/p>\n
