This is occasionally a spot where leaks occur. Oil-cooled bikes have two types of starter motors, so we use the Suzuki genuine part that matches your year.<\/p>\n

\nWe replace the generator (alternator) damper.
\nIt’s not a very visible part, but we polish it like this before assembly. It feels great.<\/p>\n

\nGenerator damper. You can think of it the same as the rear wheel hub damper. When it wears or hardens from overheating or high mileage, you’ll hear some extra noise at idle. If you’re bothered by engine noise, this could be the culprit.<\/p>\n

\nIt’s also a good opportunity to thoroughly clean the back side of the removed parts.<\/p>\n

It’s good to know how the clearance changes over time.<\/p>\n

\nYou can also see the condition inside. If it’s silver like this, there’s been little overheating and the oil has been changed regularly, so your confidence in the bike goes way up.<\/p>\n

\nWe synchronize the carburetors. Combined with valve clearance adjustment, you get a synergistic effect. When all four cylinders are balanced, you’ll get stable idle.<\/p>\n
