\nFuture task: I need to adapt the old metal or tin valve here to a modern rubber one. Since Decoboco doesn’t have many GR71 customers yet, I’m not fired up about it. <\/div>\n
Parts like this can be polished and reused if they’re only slightly stepped. *Only the ones with light scratches, mind you. <\/div>\n

\nThis is hard to see in the photo, but when I screw down the float valve seat, you can see it tilts to the right. <\/div>\n

\nCylinders 1\u20133 are fine, but only number 4 tilts. It should be okay, but I’d rather do the work now than regret it later. <\/div>\n

\nI ground 0.2 mm, then 0.2 mm again, repeating until it was straight.<\/p>\n

\nMarking the accelerator pump discharge direction with a marker makes adjustment easier. <\/div>\n

\nAccording to the manual: “Start the engine and check the fuel level.”
