\nTrying to avoid brute force, I half-offset it and wrestled with it for about an hour before finally getting it loose\u2014this is some serious corrosion.<\/p>\n

\nI also replaced the stripped POP rivets.<\/p>\n

\nA nerdy detail: only on the early GSX-R750 GR71 models, I think. The oil line inside the pulser cover isn’t plugged. If you’re switching to a Yoshimura cover, you need to drill out the plug and press it in.<\/p>\n

The left cover is on hold because the gasket hasn’t been sourced yet.<\/p>\n

\nI swapped in an H2 master cylinder and fabricated a new bracket.<\/p>\n
