\nFirst, the bracket that secures the TEE-FIT. The thinking is that for a branch like the TEE-FIT, using a cable tie feels a bit sad.<\/p>\n

These days it’s SUS304, but back in the day it was 5052 plus pop rivets. Pretty clunky, right?
\nNuts on the back side are the worst, so maybe a cable tie would be better after all.<\/p>\n

\n\u2191 A long neck like that is pointless.<\/p>\n

\nOne or two waves is plenty. It depends on the location, so please be careful.<\/p>\n

We cut with a press, so we can keep it within 0.3\u20130.5 mm.<\/p>\n

\nDone in no time. Due to material constraints, just the brake line.<\/p>\n

\nIt’s nice when you can use a front stand.<\/p>\n

\nIt’s better to have it contact smoothly toward the TEE-FIT without any sharp angles.<\/p>\n

You can’t do this with off-the-shelf brake hoses.
\nIt’s not talked about much, but it’s probably a cost issue. Sometimes customers ask for custom off-the-shelf hoses, but the length and fitting direction can only be matched on the actual bike.<\/p>\n

It makes sense that customers who buy and DIY-install hoses can’t get them to fit properly. The layout is surprisingly tricky.<\/p>\n
