\nToday we’re starting from the front. We can clean and oil the speedometer cable at times like this, which should help it last longer.<\/p>\n

\nBoth sides are in really clean condition. Doesn’t get much use.<\/p>\n

\nLet’s steam-clean the brake dust and dry it right away.<\/p>\n

\nWork that feels like it washes away worldly desires\u2014cleaning the disc holes. We always wet them and work carefully with a rag behind. Still, there sure are a lot of holes\u2026<\/p>\n

\nFinally, complete degreasing with brake cleaner. Brake discs are surprisingly dirty. After cleaning, they don’t grip as well, so we’ll bed them in again.<\/p>\n

We don’t recommend dragging during brake bedding. It’s heat and cool, heat and cool for both pad and disc.<\/p>\n
