Looking back, that was crazy. Iron filings getting inside, taking forever, gasoline in the tank and the risk of fire\u2014it was scary.<\/p>\n

The truth is, neither the person doing the work nor the customer likes it.<\/p>\n

\nHow I do it now is a trade secret, but the bore enlargement is done clean and in a flash!
\nIf you use your head a little, it’s easy. I went through a lot of trial and error before I got it down.<\/p>\n

Fast, clean, safe, and the technician stays clean too.<\/p>\n

\nPull the pin and it comes apart. There’s a ball, a seat, and a spring, so don’t lose them.<\/p>\n

\nMill the pin down to 1mm remaining, then polish\u2014that’s the process.<\/p>\n
