\nI thought if the outer diameter matched, I could use a spline adapter, so I ordered a Kijima part.<\/p>\n

It looks like a fine and coarse fit\u2014well, it should be fine.<\/p>\n

I thought about switching to a Newton cap, and the fuel petcock position bugs me too, but if I invest too much in the tank, I’ll end up thinking “should I have just bought aluminum?” so I’ll keep it gentle and easy.<\/p>\n
