\nComplete fuel system failure means the tank, fuel pump, and fuel sensor are all dead.<\/p>\n

\nThe tank can’t be cleaned to a usable level, so I’ll search using the web.
\nWhen I cross-reference the part numbers for the A-type and B-type, they’re completely different…<\/p>\n

Since I’m searching for used parts, what’s listed isn’t necessarily accurate, so I have to look carefully, extract the differences, and make sure there are no mistakes\u2014it takes several hours.<\/p>\n

Finally found this beauty above.<\/p>\n

\nIt gets even worse when it dries… looks like a croquette.<\/p>\n

\nYikes… scary. Everyone, please don’t let your fuel go bad!<\/p>\n

I didn’t think it would work this well, but Fuel One might be the ticket.<\/p>\n

\nI drained the engine oil. No water contamination was detected, so that’s reassuring.<\/p>\n

\nThis time the battery is Daytona brand. It’s affordable and I use it quite often.<\/p>\n

\nWhat makes it reliable? I choose products from well-known domestic manufacturers with a warranty.<\/p>\n

Some people throw away their battery warranty cards, but you should absolutely keep them.<\/p>\n

\nThe plugs had iridium tips. They’re clean, so I’ll reuse them.<\/p>\n

Just changing the ZX12R plugs is enough work to make you want a full service. If I had more customers, I’d definitely create a special tool for it.<\/p>\n

\nSurprisingly clean\u2014I was relieved.<\/p>\n

\nSurprisingly unused and clean. No weathering either.<\/p>\n

\nWith the plugs out, I cranked it firmly until the oil pressure light went out… whirring away.<\/p>\n

That’s fuel injection for you. It started right up.
\nNo unusual noises\u2014all good. \"\"
\nI have to remove the throttle cable too just to get the plugs out…<\/p>\n

Now I can finally order the parts.<\/p>\n

Putting it on hold for now.<\/p>\n
