\nThere was a parts ordering mix-up, so I’m assembling the carburettor partway through. <\/div>\n

\nSince cylinders 1-4 and 2-3 have separate fuel supply, it’s pretty straightforward.<\/p>\n

\nAll four cylinders checked out fine.<\/p>\n

\nI clean each one thoroughly and apply oil layer by layer.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nI wipe down the throttle cable and oil it too.<\/p>\n

\nThe fork gets the dust seal removed, cleaned, and oiled. The right side might be leaking\u2014I need to check that.<\/p>\n

\nThe shaft is still usable.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"
\nThe front caliper isn’t as rusty as I expected. Since it’s an anodized caliper, it moves without any issues.<\/p>\n

\nIt’s in pretty sharp condition. Well, I’ll clean it up anyway.<\/p>\n

\nCast calipers look better when you coat them with a light layer of oil\u2014it helps hide imperfections.
\nBut really, after washing, a light coat of oil keeps dirt from sticking and keeps everything looking clean longer.<\/p>\n

\nStill a temporary assembly, but I’ve removed the rust from the disc, painted the inner surface, and replaced all the bolts.
\nCleanliness starts from the ground up. It looks like it’ll be done sooner than expected.<\/p>\n
