\nWe sent the fork to Technics for replating. We’re just assembling it here.<\/p>\n

\nThe rear suspension is Nitron. They really do cover so many different models.<\/p>\n

\nWe remove it from the top. The workability is pretty good.<\/p>\n

\nWe wrap it so it doesn’t get scratched.<\/p>\n

\nWe want to remove the spot welds from the standard reservoir bracket and reuse it.<\/p>\n

\nWe cut out a piece of plate like this\u2026<\/p>\n

\nAnd spot weld it like this.<\/p>\n

\nWow, this is really convenient\u2026<\/p>\n

\nWe also cleaned up the battery mounting plate.<\/p>\n

\nI think it’ll be easier to adjust too.<\/p>\n

\nModern backstep switches are hydraulic. Fluid comes out \u21d2 air bleeding is necessary \u21d2 master cylinder is dirty \u21d2 why not? That’s the direction we go.<\/p>\n

Depending on the work, we charge by task and by labor hours. Lately it comes down to whether the finish feels good.<\/p>\n

\nBut it seems like they’ve been taking them apart lately. Well, generally you can’t polish them.<\/p>\n

\nThe starter relay side and battery side cover condition are bad, so we’ll replace them.<\/p>\n

\nThe Suzuki OEM part is subtly cute.<\/p>\n

\nWhen you push and pull it, there’s a squeaking noise. Zero play, huh? It’s gotten bad. We adjusted it.<\/p>\n

\nAn accelerator that won’t return when you open it\u2026 that’s scary (for test riding).<\/p>\n

\nThe pin appears to have been partially ground down.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nWhen tightened, it was contacting the throttle and feeling stiff.
\nWe ground it down and adjusted it.<\/p>\n
