\nIt got lightly bumped into a street tree, so it needed repair. The inner tube that bent pretty badly is fixed up nicely. As always, it’s amazing\u2014really.<\/p>\n

\nThe stem that got bent out of shape is also corrected. It actually heals… even though it’s welded as one piece with the stem… I’m moved.<\/p>\n

\nSorry for the sudden underside shot. This piece broke off…<\/p>\n

\nWe won’t attack the dent at the root. With the mindset of a dental technician, we’ll fit and grind it, then prepare by cutting a deep bevel.<\/p>\n

\nWe weld it up and it’s done. Sorry for the over-burn again.
\n*The lines on the boss are not cracks, so please don’t worry.<\/p>\n

\nWe’ll seal NC100 grease into the stem bearing and assemble it.<\/p>\n

\nWe weren’t sure if 36\u03c6 would fit since we don’t see it often, but it does exist.
\nOil seals are standard specification parts, so if the outer diameter, inner diameter, and width match, we can use them.<\/p>\n

\nOnce assembled, we’ll bleed air, adjust the oil level, and the fork is complete.<\/p>\n
