\nFuel won’t leak unless the level rises well above the mating surface.<\/p>\n

\nCheck the actual fuel level by sight. Rarely, instead of needle valve wear, there’s gradual fuel level rise from wear on the carburetor body itself\u2014a blind spot. Seeing it with your own eyes really boosts confidence.<\/p>\n

\nSynchronization looks fine, so we’ll leave it alone.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nPolish the chain and sprockets thoroughly and lubricate them.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nThe distance collar has shifted from all the play. We’ve adjusted it.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nLet’s remove the dust boots from the calipers and clean them.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nThey’re in excellent condition\u2014no issues at all.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nWe’ll clean the disc holes nicely too.<\/p>\n

\nMoving to the front\u2014no issues here either.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nThe bearing alignment looks good too.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nLet’s lubricate the speedometer cable as well.<\/p>\n

\nPeel back the dust boots on the calipers and clean them. After washing, it’s a good idea to always apply grease to the body\u2014preventing rust is the most important thing.<\/p>\n

\nClean the disc,<\/p>\n

\nand move on to the control system. We’ve polished it.<\/p>\n

\nSame with the lower bracket.<\/p>\n

\nWipe down the throttle and apply a light coat of engine oil\u2014just enough to coat the skin.<\/p>\n

\nWhen trying to open the cap, the body loosens\u2014so we held it with a hose clamp and opened it.<\/p>\n

\nSorry for pulling it out first. We’ve replaced the fluid.<\/p>\n

\nWash the air filter, replace the spark plug, measure compression, and we’re done!<\/p>\n
