\nI find myself thinking things like, the parallelogram patch is nice.<\/p>\n

\nThe barely perceptible taper is refined.<\/p>\n

\nBefore installation, it’s reassuring to protect it this way.
\nProtecting it creates an escape route\u2014if it gets scratched, sorry about that!<\/p>\n

\nInstall the carburettor and balance the synchronization.<\/p>\n

\nOn older bikes, the cap is a tricky spot. I check the configuration and try to make it as easy to remove as possible.<\/p>\n

\nChecking the fuel path and confirming it flows is a given.
\nIf fuel won’t flow, you can easily end up in a real mess, so it’s critical to get this right.<\/p>\n

\nRecently popular: fuel supply from the right side. Because of the sidestand, doesn’t fuel flow faster from right to left? Also, the farther the hose layout is from the petcock, the longer it can be and the easier it is to disconnect.<\/p>\n

\nSince we can’t go back, I’m not changing the hole diameter, but it differs between the R1100 and GSF. I’m still working on it considering the spring tension.<\/p>\n
