\nToday we’re going to do some oil-cooled maintenance.<\/p>\n

\nRecently, starter motor O-ring replacement has been included as part of the package too. It’s great to be able to keep riding it in good condition for as long as possible.<\/p>\n

\nThe damper was in better condition than expected, nice and soft.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\" \"\"
\nWe polished it using an analog method. It’s electric, but… well, it comes out nice and clean.<\/p>\n

\nThe generator connector was in good shape too.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"
\nLock washers and nuts that look like they’ve been reused. We’ll replace them while we’re at it.<\/p>\n

\nThe shaft has been polished thoroughly, so you can rest assured. Bending the lock in two places keeps it secure.<\/p>\n

\nWe’re replacing the engine damper. The bolts are in sharp condition.<\/p>\n

\nThe damper itself wasn’t in too bad a state.<\/p>\n

\nIt’s good to polish it. Looking at the stepped section of the case, you can see it’s experiencing fine vibrations.<\/p>\n

\nWith the later-model damper, the bolts are shorter and no nuts are needed, making the work much simpler and very nice.<\/p>\n
