It’s tight and hard to press with the dial.<\/p>\n

\nThis time we’ll check first without enlarging the slot. It’s a hassle because we can’t really machine the cam sprocket slot with a file or rotary tool. We’ll only widen it when necessary.<\/p>\n

It was almost at the Yoshimura specified value, so this is fine as is.<\/p>\n

\nNow let’s move on to self-point maintenance. First we’ll clean the chain, lubricate it, and adjust it.<\/p>\n

\nThe block is dirty… I’ve been noticing that lately.<\/p>\n

\nI think if the bike gets cleaner along with maintenance, you can take better care of it.
\nThis is something we can do because we have the equipment.<\/p>\n

\nThe caliper was clean too. After washing, let’s properly lubricate the pistons and apply rust-preventive oil to the body, then wipe it down.<\/p>\n

\nIt’d be nice if the pad springs and such were clean too. (I polished them.)<\/p>\n

\nWe replaced the fluid.<\/p>\n
