\nA bit late to the party, but the GSX1100S starter valve area doesn’t have any settings\u2014nothing at all.<\/p>\n

There’s not even an O-ring on the cap. Well, I hunted one down and adapted it.<\/p>\n

\nI’ll adapt the starter valve too. Basically, these carburettors are generic units assembled for each model. BS34s have been around forever.<\/p>\n

Find one yourself.<\/p>\n

\nIt’s stepped now, so that’s how they handle it. All good, all good.<\/p>\n

\nDry-fitted to check. I was thinking I’d have to machine it on the lathe, but\u2014hmm\u2014it just barely works. Saved myself some effort.<\/p>\n

\nThe inside walls of the NJ are surprisingly dirty. If air blowing takes care of it, that’s easy enough.<\/p>\n

\nThe condition is good. I’ll leave it as is without replacing it. I always think about adapting it to a rubber type, but we don’t get many old vacuum-operated ones, so I’ll consider it if there’s demand.<\/p>\n
