\u2022 I don’t want to make a mistake during fabrication.
\n\u2022 Installation can’t be a hassle.
\n\u2022 It shouldn’t interfere with future maintenance work.

\nAfter bending, I kept the final cutout light.<\/p>\n

\nInstalling aftermarket parts without cutting corners creates unity and avoids looking out of place.<\/p>\n

\nThe unfortunate thing about the Inazuma 1200 oil-cooled Katana: the seat is held down with butterfly bolts.
\nJust switching to a seat lock makes things so much easier.
\nThis time it’s version 2.<\/p>\n

\nThe rear fender holds the seat lock in place. I used an existing hole and fabricated this plate.<\/p>\n

\nNow you can loosen it from the back and remove the seat\u2014a reassuring setup.
\nI tightened it once in this state and got a bit worried for a moment…<\/p>\n

Next is fixing the release knob, oil change, wiring, and caliper cleaning to finish.
