\nThe ETC unit hasn’t been working quite right lately. Since the inspection is already complete, let’s relocate it.<\/p>\n

\nThere’s hardly anywhere to mount screws, and with this integrated unit, finding a suitable location is tricky.
\nI drilled out the screw holes and made them flush with the surface.<\/p>\n

\nSince it contacts things all over the place, the bracket keeps getting smaller and smaller.<\/p>\n

\nThere’s one M5 bolt under the top bridge, and that’s where I got the main mounting point.<\/p>\n

\nSince one point seemed risky, I added a hook for additional support.<\/p>\n

\nI also bent the sides to reinforce the bracket.<\/p>\n

\nThis is the initial test fit shape.<\/p>\n

\nI originally planned to secure it on both sides, but since the unit has an M4 boss sticking out, I ended up using one bolt for mounting and double-sided tape.<\/p>\n

I also did some deburring while I was at it.<\/p>\n

\nAfter polishing and installing, it looks like this.<\/p>\n

\nIt sits in this gap and gets some protection that way.<\/p>\n

\nThis time it’s truly an integrated unit, so finding the right spot was really challenging.<\/p>\n
